Daimon Beathea

Mr. Daimon Beathea has become a pioneer of international high-performance sports exchange. Starting with his family falling on hard times and becoming homeless for several months before moving back to Indiana, he never let his love of basketball drift away. At the age of 17, he was invited to the White House to meet President George H Bush in 1991 as a member of an All-American Basketball team.

Biography

He is the first African American from the state of Indiana to play basketball at Michigan State University as a full scholarship student athlete. After graduated from Michigan State University he played in professional basketball for 6 years, upon retiring from playing he became the head coach of Ancilla College at age of 28 and on to coaching at the University of Dayton and Wisconsin-Green Bay. 

At age 32, he became the owner and the head coach of Elkhart Express of International Basketball League (IBL), with 69-8 winning records and 2 Championships. He helped the Elkhart Express broker regional and national TV broadcasts, and his team attendance out drew 98% of the NBA backed minor league teams.

Mr. Beathea turned his eye to China after 3 seasons in IBL and became coach / lead consultant for the Shanghai Sharks of the CBA League. In 2009, he became the 1st NBA international scout for Utah Jazz (2009-2012) for China.

He established World Vision Sports Management LLC. in 2013 and since 2007 has led his Team World Vision to China for 40 plus trips and became the 1st USA entity outside of the NBA to make profit from commercial games in China. He has grown Team World Vision to be the only US basketball team to be not affiliated with a league or federation to be listed for online betting in China.
